This manufacturer is seeking candidates with 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically as a supplier, and with a comprehensive experience in dealing with the following job deliverables:



Perform cycle counts on raw materials, in-process and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy.
Review part levels on an ongoing basis to proactively maintain required inventory levels.
Maintain system required to monitor production inventory due or on order.
Reconcile on-hand inventories with system inventory levels to correct errors and maintain system integrity.
Follow up with Customer Service/Purchasing/Materials Release Analyst on any shortage issues.
Investigate the daily negative inventory report and makes appropriate adjustments.
Share responsibility for the accuracy of all inventories such as components, work in process and finished goods with the rest of the Materials Department.
Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
Monitors CMI (MRP System) master files (e.g., Routings, etc.) as required.
Run reports, analyzes results, and makes adjustments as needed based on cycle counts.



Skills Required:



Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Use of effective analytical and problem solving skills to analyze and resolve inventory variances.
Demonstrated proficiency with related modules of CMI or Trans4M MRP system is a definite plus.
Ability to organize and prioritize multi-tasks to meet deadlines; ability to work effectively under time pressure.
Computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
Mathematical aptitude.

Do not allow ANYONE to take product from shipping without proper paper work  
Make sure rack tags are legible and parked in proper location
Fill out Foreman's shift report daily.   
All Loaders overtime must be approved by a Foreman and documented  in Foreman's shift report  
All Foremen's overtime must be approved by Distribution Manager  unless a call in occurs on your shift.

Currently we have an opportunity available for a Procurement Coordinator at the La Habra Bakery in La Habra, California.
This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and administers the procurement of a continuous and dependable supply of ingredients, packaging and supplies for the Bakery production operation.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.       Seeks, evaluates and determines the best sources for filling the requirements of each production line.
2.       Maintains inventory levels to assure a reliable supply and minimal exposure.
3.       Determines best acquisition costs for Bakery ingredients, packaging and supplies.
4.       Prepares necessary documentation for selection and purchase of ingredients, wrap and supplies.
5.       Provides specialized information for those departments interacting with manufacturing, i.e., Accounting, Marketing and Corporate Brand Packaging.  Develops timely reports for plant staff and department managers. 
6.       Develops solutions for out of the ordinary manufacturing needs caused by weather, strikes, late deliveries, defective merchandise, etc.
7.       Monitors and communicates the need to sell scrap, salvageable, and out of code ingredients, should the need arise.
8.       Plans and coordinates purchase, to support ad specials, seasonal fluctuations or disaster recovery.
9.       Facilitates communications between plant and suppliers.  Facilitates supplier development and improvement.
10.    Establishes and maintains good vendor relations which involves evaluating performance, interviewing representatives, reconciling complaints and adjustments, originating communications, visiting vendor facilities, and arranging and participating in meetings between vendor representatives, and plant and company personnel.
11.    Uses periods of high concentration and knowledge of Bakery production processes to develop and maintain master schedule for products, allowing plant to operate at steady state during periods of increased sales activity and prevent building up of excessive inventories; involves use of written and verbal communication with various departments to assess impact of planning.
12.    Initiates an effective inventory system for all produced and purchased items including availability of raw material for future production and timely distribution of such product.
13.    Balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality and reliability as well as cost control.
14.    Assuring inventory organization and accuracy of stored area; keeping the storage areas neat, organized, and easily identifiable.
15.    Facilitate physical inventory.
16.    Must participate in all company related safety programs, such as:  B.A.P.P. ® observation process, Safety Committee, and/or any other safety related programs.
17.    Complies with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements and procedures.
18.    SQF:  Will follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements; Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems; Will be accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
