Currently seeking Utility Locate Technicians for the Lawton, OK area to work for a company that is experiencing growth. Locaters are responsible for the accurate and safe identification and marking of underground utilities. Properly marking location, photographing site and completing necessary paperwork are essential. Locaters are responsible for a company truck, laptop computer, cell phone, gas card and technical equipment.
While these are daytime positions, working overtime and on an on-call rotation (24 hours per day, 7 days per week) is required.
Qualifications
Previous experience working outdoors preferred.
Must be able to read a map and use a computer.
Possess a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
Physical Demands
These requirements must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this position. Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
