Position Summary:
Process Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate design, develop

Process Engineer for this role will provide leadership and
creativity in exploration, design, development, optimization and implementation of major processes and systems in Feminine Care products manufacturing.
Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies in both staff and plant environments and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide
work direction to a broad range of team members. The
incumbent reports to an Engineering Team Leader and receives direction in the form of broad assignment objectives.
Responsibilities:
1) Lead single or multiple product or process improvement
projects with a financial scope of up to $30 million from
conception through commercialization.
2) Provide functional leadership and creativity in the
initiation of design, development and optimization of converting and manufacturing equipment and
processes to meet unit objectives.
3) Develop knowledge and skills so as to be recognized for
expertise and functional leadership in application of
engineering principles, scientific analysis and project
management while providing advice and counsel to others.
4) Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes,

Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's or advanced degree
in Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited College or University. Candidates with an Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered.
Requires 12 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments; less experience will be considered for candidates with a strong experience base.
Strong experience using manufacturing analysis tools: SPC (statistical process control); design of experiments; process capability studies, and Six Sigma,
A recognized process expert with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in major capital projects.
A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to
achieve project results within required timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staff
assignments, including maintenance and operations.

SUMMARY OVERVIEW

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop relationship with key DC:DC vendors and customers
Design, build, and test DC:DC to support group initiatives

GENERAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Fundamentals in the design of DC:DC power electronics, understanding of electric power conversion concepts and selection of electrical equipment.
Understanding of cost points (Cent/W), technology drivers, efficiency targets, Redundancy
Min 5 years experience designing 90%+ DC:DC for 1A to 130A. Single & multi phase.
Commercial understanding of the drivers of cost and industry price-points to achieve lowest cost DC:DC that meets spec.
Complete understanding and hands-on experience with latest Intel VRM designs
Experience in Analog circuit design (Analog circuit with transistor Level, Op-Amp, D/A, A/D, interface with micro-controller, sensing techniques and calibration)
Experience Complying international standards EMI/EMC, safety regulation and thermal management
Experience in electronic packaging (high density SMT, PCB layout techniques, planar transformers, EMI, thermal)
Would have worked with one or more engineering tools like Mathcad, Matlab, Pspice etc.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas with people from diverse educational, experiential, and cultural backgrounds.
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, coupled with a well-focused attention to detail; ability and commitment to produce a timely and highly accurate work product.
