o Demonstrate the ability to develop, manage, maintain, and evaluate state-of-the art computer hardware, software, and software development tools; evaluate their ability to support specific requirements and interface with other equipment and systems; and make recommendations for system improvements.
o Be responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications/ communications networks, computer accounting and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.
o Instruct, direct, and check the work of other task personnel.
o Be capable of analyzing information technology requirements and evaluate IT system problems of workflow, organization, planning to develop corrective actions and be responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
